The idea behind my first image derived from an assignment on the 21st century Revolution. My aim to show the effects of coral with climate change and the rising temperatures in the sea. I wanted to show the rich vibrancy and then the death as the vibrant colours drain away.

My next image is from an embroidery piece set by the Stockport Viaduct, by the bus station. This was in connection with an earlier assignment called the grid project. I completed a sketch to show the brick work and to show the trees, the idea to show the bridge and nature together. My next thought was to combine embroidery, and a red backing cloth to represent the colour of the bricks together. To gain the colour in the backing cloth for the background I dyed the cloth, this had issues with the fabric shrinking. In insight I prepared a larger piece of cloth then adapted the the cloth for the frame for my image.
